So my Herschel x New Balance hiking trainers came in the mail last week and I have to say they look class, without doubt the best heavy duty winter footwear I’ve purchased. Keeping on the Herschel theme, I’ve been checking some of their latest backpack offerings and I really do love their simple, modern styling.
During my school days, sporting one of these backpacks would have resulted in a few choice words from my unforgiving peers and the poor unsuspecting bag been flung over a cubicle door in the lasses bogs. Getting the thing back would of been awkward to say the least! However, things have moved on since those days and with the rise of university outfitter brands such as Jack Wills and traditional outdoor clothing brands designing more pieces for the fashion market; backpacks have become….well cool again!
The Herschel Supply Co. was set up in 2009 by brothers Jamie & Lyndon Cormack. Based out of Vancouver, Canada; they produce quality backpacks, travel bags & accessories. Christmas is upon us, so I thought I’d treat myself to their ‘Little America Backpack’. Its comes with a padded/fleece lined up to 15″ sleeve pocket & internal media pocket; so its great for storing your laptop/tablet. The Little America has the look of an traditional mountaineering rucksack with quality modern styling and real attention to detail (see the ‘Finest Quality’, Herschel emblem on each backpack). I would seriously recommend a gander at Herschel Supply Co.’s website to keep up to speed with all their new arrivals. Here’s a few of my favourites below;
