Being the follicly challenged fellow that I am, owning some decent headwear is a must. Another month and it’ll be time to leave the beanies in the drawer until autumn, so I thought I best get on the look out for a good lightweight flat cap. I’m pleased to report I’ve found a belter in the Brixton Brood Cap. Don’t ask me why its called the Brood Cap. Maybe its because us men brood over just about anything and Brixton saw it as way to get us out of our mood. Actually, I think this was just my logic behind buying it. Anyway, whatever stinker I was in it made me feel much better.
The cap itself is an eight panel cut and sew snap cap featuring a custom lining and a whopping seven different colours/styles in the range; with my standout choice being the herringbone brown x kakhi cap. The Brood Cap has some great touches of quality with a soft, slightly padded lining and ace understated metal Brixton emblem on the back left of each cap. Overall its a great vintage looking hat with impressive original design and detailing features. Bravo!
