The day has come for me to book my summer trip to Croatia on the battle weary credit card. Finally commiting to this jaunt will coincide with making a concerted effort to get my t-shirt suntan on the go (Yes I realise its February but I’m a pasty shit) and hunting down some new polo-shirts. Cue subconscious bickering; ‘You don’t even tan man, you’re only looking for new clothes because you can’t fit in the ones you’ve got’. ‘Sod off! I do bloody tan man and and for your information I still fit in a medium Marks & Spencer’s heritage knit’. ‘Come off it…everyone knows Marksies knitwear is oversized you massive unit’.
Now I’ve accepted the fact that my torso and the size ‘M’ are finished, I’ve turned my attention to Barbour’s latest offering the Browell Stipe Polo. Barbour are somewhat of a British institution, renowned for delivering hardwearing traditional outerwear. However, they’re not just about heavy duty wax jackets. Over the past five years Barbour have really expanded their fashion product range to bring us some classic yet contemporary menswear. The Browell is a perfect example of this with its thin stripe colour format, understated embroidered logo and 100% cotton pique. Big props to Barbour for providing us fella’s with some uncomplicated summer clobber.
