Wooden Map Buttons from Bombus

1st September 2014

Just a quick post from me today as I’m busy putting ideas together for the re-design of this site. It’s something I’ve been putting off for around 3 months and now I’m finally getting down to reviewing themes and getting some basic structure in place, I cannot wait to see the end product.

Another thing I’m pretty damn happy about is finding these map styled buttons from vintage accessories and art designers, Bombus.

My plan is to re-unite myself with needle and thread and pair these little wooden numbers with an old Harris Tweed I picked up from Harley’s Vintage last year; which should give the coat that extra bit of individuality heading into winter. The buttons themselves are about as unique as they come, with each and every one displaying a different map design. Who needs a haberdashery eh!

For these buttons and more map related stuff; including this slightly odd (yet very cool) wooden ‘dachshund’ map of Westminster, take a swing by
