That’s right it’s the NSPCC’s ‘Bobble Hat Day’ this coming Wednesday, the one day of the year when you can justify wearing that hand-knitted fairisle lid to your morning meeting, and more importantly spare a thought (and maybe some dosh) for those little mites going through a tough time this Christmas.
We’re all aware of the invaluable role the NSPCC perform in protecting the UK’s most vulnerable children, and on 10th December they’re requesting you don your bobble hat with a pride and spare a little, or a lot to help give those youngsters a voice.
To donate £2.00 text ‘BOBBLE’ to ‘70744’, or head over to www.nspcc.org.uk for more information and further ways to get involved.
In the meantime, here’s some headwear inspiration from London’s knitwear maestros, Ollie Spencer.
