It was that blowy over the weekend, at one point I thought I might have to strap myself to the landing radiator with my belt and ride it out. You know, like Helen Hunt and her band of storm chasing arseholes in ‘Twister’.
Now is it just me, but if your off chasing massive tornado’s on a daily basis, you’d think to wear the right gear. But no, not these clowns, they were more akin to floral shirts, white vests and referring to Bill ‘Billy’ Paxman as ‘The Extreme’
If only they’d consulted the guys at the Ten C, who would have gladly sorted them out with one of these timeless rain replant Anorak’s. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing though …
So what were they missing?
Well for starters, Ten C is the creation of Alessandro Pungetti and Paul Harvey of CP Company/Stone Island notability, so we reckon there’s a fair chance their coats will last you until your old and grey.
Their latest 3L Anorak’s features a heavy duty front zip, 2 front slanted hand–warmer pockets, a concealed stow pocket on the back and a fixed hood with drawcord adjusters and buttoned cuffs.
The Italian outerwear guru’s have even gone as far to develop this new-fangled 3 layer nylon fabric, which is lightweight, waterproof, windproof and features specialist taped seams. Although the best bit is that these jackets actually mould themselves to the shape of your body over time to give the Anorak a unique and individual appearance.
All the more reason give that caveman diet a whirl …
