You’ve probably noticed by the general tone on here that we tend to get to the point, tell it how it is, and continuously make references to the weather (must stop doing this).
It will come of no surprise then, that we’re also into brands that share in our ‘no bullshit’ disposition, and independent clothing brand ‘Good Measure’ slot nicely into this category.
Hailing from the North West (seemingly a current geographical hotbed for contemporary menswear), Good Measure do the following:
Make decent sweatshirts … out of decent cotton … in UK factory’s (well most of the time anyway) … sell them to decent everyday folk (well most of the time anyway) … make more decent sweatshirts ….
Simple and effective stuff!
Their no-nonsense sweatshirts are constructed from durable 460g loop back jersey cotton and feature double thickness rib side inserts, a traditional ribbed V neck, bar tacked seam ends for extra strength and a curved back neck crescent. And you just thought it was a grey jumper, didn’t you?
Anyway, balls to the technicalities! I’d much rather explore the reasoning behind these casual crews taking their name after Halifax’s notorious tussler, Shirley Crabtree?
Answers on a leotard please?
