White pumps are a bit like a holiday fling. On arrival they’re pasty and rather uncomfortable. And by the end, they’ve been ridden all summer long and despite the fact you really do like’em, you’re conscious of the fact they wont quite have same allure on a rain-swept morning in Gateshead.

Expect to see a massive vulcanised rubber toe-end and a non-slip grooved sole, which features a nice little illustration of some dude trekking about. Thankfully they’ve not messed around too much with the rest of the shoe, with standard chrome eyelets, lace-ups, and a simple canvas cotton upper taking pride of place on these classics.
Oh, and if your truly hell-bent monogamy then the tan and denim versions below should go a long way to safeguarding your grubby summer of lust.
