… it would look a lot like this Mountain Pack from Topo.
Their latest rucksack release is a perfect morph between a technical mountaineering bag and a shove-your-laptop-and-butties-in-it-and-leg-it-for-the-bus … bag. And, that’s exactly what Colorado’s finest receptacle raconteurs have accomplished. They’ve designed a bag that’s fit for purpose, any day of the week.
As with all things with Topo these packs are easier on the eye than Adrian in Rocky II. That said, only the bit when Rocky’s got coin and he’s kitted her out in nice clobber and she’s jacked in her job at the pet store, but before the bit near the end when she pops out that kid with a thatch to rival Tom Selleck’s. That bit.
Back to the pack, and it’s constructed from Cordura fabric, which any outdoor buffs will know is tougher than Clubber Lang in that Snickers advert. The best of the rest includes two large side pockets (handy for storing a multi-pack of said Snickers), a zippered laptop sleeve and a daisy chain webbing that you can attach bike lights too, or reflectors, or other nice shiny things.
