If you believe everything you read on the Daily Mirror’s social media platforms you could be forgiven for thinking we’ve got some kind of apocalyptic record breaking cold spell around the corner that will bring the UK to it’s frozen knees. Although it must be said this particularly publication isn’t noted for it’s meteorological prowess. Still, it’s good to be prepared, and these ribbed Donegal hats from Irish knitwear manufacturers Inis Meain look a good shout for guiding you through this catastrophic event.
Not only will their speckled finish make you look like a weather-hardy trawler-man (one of my favoured looks), but you can be safe in the knowledge that the merino and cashmere construction will keep your kite snug as the impending doomsday approaches. I mean lets face it, a freezing bonce is all you need when the end is nigh.
