Ahh it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Fenwicks Christmas window, ‘Elf’ on the telebox, and Goodhood’s annual gift edit series. All of which are a barometer that the festive period is growing ever closer.
If you’re anything like me and simply cannot be in the presence of fellow Christmas shoppers for fear of bludgeoning them to death with a Markies chocolate log, then it’s probably best you stick with the online format and have a gawp over these gift guides courtesy of the finest independent store in Shoreditch, or is it classed as Hoxton? Christ knows!? But it’s situated on Curtain Road and sells dead smart gear!
Entitled ‘A Very Good Christmas Guide’, each ‘flat-lay’ photograph (that’s when clothes are folded flat in artisan way which looks dead cool) captures a unique concept, ranging from Gift Edit 01 ‘Life Essentials’, to Gift Edit 04 ‘Pure Luxury’.
Expect to find a selection of homewear, menswear, womenswear and accessories including everything from a designer cheese grater by Metrocs, to a Mohair and Wool cardigan from Needles.
